A Wormhole Storm is a Science Fiction (heavy on the fiction) concept of mine partially inspired by the SciFi Channel's TV show "FARSCAPE." The concept of a "Wormhole Weapon" intrigued me and already having developed my ruptured wormholes I soon envisioned them turning into massive storms, spawning off multiple shifting wormhole passages raging in space and tearing apart all within their grasp, scattering the matter throughout the regions the passages exit.

This open edition art print contains the text - "Sunday, December 16, 2012 - NASA's Hubble II space telescope observes the Space Shuttle Endeavor, pulled out of retirement and automated for the purpose of launching a satellite one million kilometers away to study this rapidly growing Wormhole Storm.

"The Mayan calendar comes to an end on Sunday, December 23, 2012. Only a few people will survive the catastrophe that ensues."

My mind is often in absolute turmoil from the disabilities and problems in life. For me it helps to calm my mind when I play with colorful patterns, concentrating on creating and just doing/experimenting rather than intentional design. I love creating these more than anything but from what I understand they are probably not very marketable. I think someday when I get a little more stable, I will start doing some commercial type work and offer a service creating signs with these artworks as the attention grabber. Until then, I offer them as open edition prints, available in a range of sizes, art papers & canvas and can be ordered with frame if you like.

I just finished this delightful little wormhole artwork. It is a wormhole designed much along the lines of what you would see in shows like Star Trek DS-9 or Farscape, done from the perspective of our ship nearing the exit, the stars clearly visible past the mouth.

The inspiration behind this fractal abstraction art piece is the July 1994 impact of comet P/Shoemaker-Levy 9 with the planet Jupiter.
